Tribute Blog to Drea Granera
OMFG ONN DRAYY UHH!! I MISSED YOU. now now i know what you'd say. "calm yo self". so i will. i cant tell you how much i missed staying up till 2 am randomly chatting with you. I tried to do the same thing with arlena, but it just wasnt the same. we didnt chat about antipie guy, and she didnt save me from zombies. this made me sad :(. shes just replacement for you. I am so glad that you are coming home finally. I need you to tell me stories about all your experiences in Washington DC. because. you. are like. just. an EPIC. storyteller. and your epic storytelling just enhances the epicness of your stories to the point that theyre like Epic2... or more like Epic to the 89900394858490385039465989850964586th power. i really wish youd have been here to put jenna's facebook posts back in their place, by telling her how shes still not on a boat. and of course i missed -__________________________________________________________- the annoyed asian face. because of your absence, i will pay tribute by not saying "that's gay" for a whole week! I miss being forgiven by you, as well as being on a boat with you. and arlena and kief and shawn and t-pain and NOT JENNA! whilst getting ARAB MONAY! when you get back. we are going to hu$tle our OG selves till we're all hu$tled out. then we be rolling in even more ARAB MONEY!

Amigos
I've been realizing who my real friends are lately, so I decided to reaffirm them.
1) Alexander Charles Moll: Dude, you're the person I've been friends with the longest, out of all my current friends. I friggin' loved summer school thanks to you, you crazy hilarious greek jew that I've been able to be a bad influence upon, you're always there to lighten the mood, or help me with my homework (aka let me copy without your knowledge) and dude we have the best times messing with Anika in history, and messing with Marissa and Fatya in Moral Theo, also completely fucking with Mac in P.E. Moll. I Fucking Love You, this time, in the straightest possible way.
2) Anika Elise Adeni: I knew you last year but we weren't really that close until the end, when you found out my middle name. I never thought that the blasphemous shouts of "DOUG DOUG" would ever cease, but now that they have, I kind of that rather reverent libelation, a sort of term of endearment, much like my use of "Satan" or other such phrases. However, I know that no matter how much banter and insulting is exchanged between the two of, we hold eachother in the highest regards. Even when you slam my head into a locker, or laugh as I yell out "FUCK THAT" in front of Ms. Dwyer, when you claw the fuck out of my arms or elbow me in the pubes, or even when my hands are on your desk in history, and you tap it, then harder, then ball your fist and slam it on my hand, then harder, then you grab your book. Yeah, I know, apparently is spite of my annoyingness, that manages to drive you insane, I somehow can keep you sane. And believe me, you have no idea how much you have done for my sanity, and how utterly psychotic and lost I would be without you.
3) Christopher Michael Gutierrez: Dude. Fatya's Cakes. Need I say more? No, I do not, but I shall anyway, for the sake of eloquence. Dude, your writings are the shit. No lie, my next favorite author. You, my crazy ass half-guinea, half-beaner, but all nigga, friend. From your quick transitions from regular conversation, to being a philosophizer, we haven't been close that long, only about 4 months (HOLY SHIT THATS IT?!?!?!?!), and we may have hated each other without even knowing each other last year, but dude. I FUCKING LOVE YOU MAN! From all the random crazy ass shit that happens when we chill at Arlena's (I still find it ironic that you started the icing thing, but were the only one to not get any on him) from ME BEING THE ONE THAT MADE THE CAKE WHEN YOU SUGGESTED IT, to writing Fatya on it, and recording it so that the ENTIRE CLASS HAS SEEN IT, and now fucking Fiandor wants me to make him a cake. Douche bag. I still love our ironically crude and crass conversations in front of the Mary statue at lunch, to our random chidings about girls cakes.
4) Arlena Bertha De La Rosa: Hoe, Bitch, Slut and Oralena. All those deragotory names that you put up with out of me, and you still, somehow, fucking love me. Well I love you too HOE! From all our cheating on Iminlikewithyou, er... I mean OMGPOP :/, more specifically, Draw My Thing. From my hooker/pole dancer drawings to randomly hitting on/arguing with people in the room with us, with your boy friend Chris by my side. All our chilling after school, and just all around mischief all the time, times with you are generally hilarious and kick ass! As you already know, I'm walking to your house every day this summer, and we're getting summer jobs.
Last but not least... 5) Karen Truong Ly: Ah, Karen(i)Ly where to begin. You are one of the most complex and hilarious figures I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I haven't known you very long, yet I fucking love you! From talking just about everyday, about everything from your boyfriend (MOLLY MOLLY MOLLY) to soccer, they are often the most enjoyable times of my day, thanks to your charisma and awesome gangsterness. ILY MY VIETRISH BEST FRAAAAAND.
You all kick ass, all warned me not to make the biggest mistake of the year, I made it any way, and I thank you guys for still being there for me. i'll listen next time :D'

Reign in Blood, South of Heaven and Seasons in the Abyss by Slayer (no they do not worship satan)
Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Cowboys from Hell and Vulgar Display of Power by Pantera
And I need to download:
Led Zeppelin I, II, III, and IV by Led Zeppelin
The Wall by Pink Floyd
MTV Unplugged Live in New York: Nirvana by Nirvana
Exile on Main St. by The Rolling Stones
How to Save a Life by The Fray
Viva la Vida by Coldplay

So, ive been too lazy to post lately so i gotta make up for that.

I FUCKING LOVE ANIKA ADENI!!!!!
yes my friend, anika, who ditched on friday to go to san francisco, was thoughtful enough to buy me a present. this present, by the way, is THE most thoughtful gift i have ever recieved (depressingly enough) when she noticed it in a shop she passed by. It was a mandala, this thing im always playing with in geometry class, and she was thoughtful enough to get me one :) i happy. she had to brave this perverted 40 year old guy hitting on her in order to get it, so i really owe her. lol
not only that but we apparently keep eachother sane:) i honestly thought she was the one keeping me sane lol.
Karen(i)Ly: I fucking love you too, ur hilarious and help to keep my head on my shoulders and keep me from being a fucking time bomb
Me: this is random but... i fucking love sublime.
Karen: what?
Me: the band... sublime
Karen: oooh... for a minute there i thought you were talking a bout fruits lol

props to karen, arlena, andanikamy five fave hoes ever
music: sublime, dirt of your shoulder by Jay-Z and Live your life by TI and Rihanna

peacemakers/frisco/5:30 am/ all dogs go to heaven... im sure of it.
Well, ive been gone for sometime now, went on a little mini-sabbatical i suppose. so i am going to update everyone (karen, jack, and arlena) on what has been going down. So, i believe that wednesday was my last post, to ill start with thursday.
Thursday.
thursday my laptop was fucked up so i had to give it to the IT guys at school. so all i did was quickly finish my spanish hw, and then i read. yes. read. i read about the last, maybe 150 pages of Dennis Lehane's A Drink Before The War which was a very interesting politcal/social crime thriller, that touched on aspects of racism, pedophilia, gang affiliations, and political scandals. It was a really good read, my second favorite in the Kenzie-Gennaro series.
Other than that, my day was again, incredibly mundane. English, was okay, Chem, was okay, Geo, was okay. However, moral theology was entertaining. we shot a video for a project and i finally got that picture for chris. lol. faty's cakes. anyway. it was incredibly stupid. it was about peacemaking, and it involved me and moll fighting in 3 different scenarios. and then fatya came and tried to stop the fighting three different ways. the first 2 didnt work, the second one did. and i was injured as a result of the first one (i was too close to the wall when i fell over, brain damage)
Friday
I got my laptop back, but its hard drive had been wiped of over 1500 FUCKING SONGS!
SHIT!
So that pretty much ensured that the day sucked horribly. so, the rebuilding had begun.
the rest of the day was pretty shitty too, my mom got mad at me for being mad that i lost all those songs. however the school day was actually pretty fun. spanish was different, and fun. anika did exactly as i told her to, and left to go to sf with her cousin after 1st period. then we watched part of All Quiet on the Western Front for world history. were gonna continue on tuesday, and thursday. and at pe we played Ultimate Frisbee with cotter's class, and we SHOULDA won, but they stole barnes and he was the only one that really scored. I learned that Marcus can just level my ass like a fucking piece of paper, and that i can almost knee drea in the face, when i jump to catch the frisbee. so yeah that was fun. also, i watched 'Milk' starring Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, and James Franco. I found the story a little boring and tedious, but the acting was phenomenal, I preferred Franco's performance to Brolin's, but what do I know, I'm fifteen. I liked the portrayal of Milk's activism, his politcal ideals and changes, and his brilliance when it came to public speaking and motivation was really great. good move, bout a 8.5/10. ps. just because its about a gay activist, does not mean we need to see the ass of Penn, Franco and Luna, multiple times. no thanks no thanks.
Saturday.
Woke up at FIVE THIRTY IN THE FUCKING MORNING to get ready to do community service with chris and arlena. o well it was fun and ended up being worth it, even if they need to GET A FUCKING ROOM! JEEZ NO ONE WANTS TO SEE YOU TWO SWAPPING SPIT ALL DAY! GAWD!. jk i love you guys. so yeah it was fun, i returned home at about noon, and then slept till 6pm. awesome. then we played iminlikewithyou. and then this one douchebag started hitting on arlena (OVER A FUCKING GAME SITE! what a faggot.) so me and chris kinda tore him a new one. (we drew a picture of him getting sodomized by his dad). yeah we're fucked up. o well. it was funny. then i started to watch benjamin button, but the internet is gay. so yeah. so i ended up watching south park, whilst eating apple slices and talking to anika. fun
sunday.
today i woke up to my mom yelling at me to get up, and 'clean your fucking pigsty of a room, its 2:00 you should be up already' to which i replied (in my mind) 'fuck off'. so i got up and 'cleaned' my room. the day went by pretty standard until i found out that a close personal friend of mine might have to put his dog down, because it attacked and killed a cat. it got me thinking. I dont know what i would do in that situation, i love my dog like hes my son, so id feel like i need to be there with him in his final moments, but then i dont think id be able to take it, when he looked me in the eyes, his so full of fear, yet full of trust and faith in me, as since im there holding him, he knows everything is gonna be alright, but it really wont be. i dont think i could betray my best friend like that. dogs are so full of faith in us, but how do we repay them? we force them to give up their nature, and assimilate to what we want them to be. and if they for one second break form, we put them down or give them away, leaving them on the streets to fend for themselves. we crucify them for their flaws, but they ignore ours, were perfect in their eyes. how they can still love us is beyond me. i mean what if we were killed for things we couldnt control? we'd all be gone.
Music: rearviewmirror and Black by Pearl Jam, Rape Me by Nirvana, and Wait and Bleed.
Props to: Chris, Arlena, Anika, Moll and Karen. for making my days tolerable, more original and all the more weird.
Peace love empathy

A Letter to My Penis.
So yeah, today was ash wednesday, and i don't observe lent, cuz i figure that god doesn't want us to suffer, but i just figured that for the hell of it, this would be a perfect time to do the 'Iron Man Challenge'. Which is going 40 days without... having a man to hand relationship.
Dear Penis, I will miss you in these next 40 days (or 30, or 10, or 2 depending on how much self control i have) and i hope you will not be angry with me at the conclusion of this hard period.
Love, Tyler
Well now that thats, over with today was pretty cool i spose. Mass SUCKED and PE was fun until we lost when we were completely destroying at first (DAMMIT ERIN MY THROW WAS PERFECT! HOW DID YOU MISS IT!?!?!?!) but i digress, she got us half our points (cherry picking ftw) and it was fun. LOL every got hella into it, after class i was talking to Crystal in the hallway, and she says, "ok were you guys being hella loud at pe? cuz we randomly heard people yell 'GODDAMMIT!' and 'MOTHERFUCKER!' and we saw you guys playing out on the field, soo..." and me and moll started busting up.
Now for some profound ideas...
One think that has been prominent in my mind as of late, is the role that music plays in our lives. Not just our entertainment, but our psychology, our escape from every day life. Movies have often been billed as the way to escape the worries of life for an hour and a half or two hours. And while I do see them as a great escape, especially comedies, I think that music is a more effective escape. All music is helpful to physically drown out the noises of life, leaving you drifting in a pool of music and lyrics, free of any thoughts for the following few minutes. All music has the ability to do that, even the lowly Jonas Brothers. However, the great music is the music that has the ability to drown out all your worries and pull you in to the song, where your not even in your body anymore, but your sould has begun to inhabit the song itself. My example is my current favorite song, 'Black' by Pearl Jam, of their debut album Ten. The song starts of calm and collected, beginning a man's soliloquy about his lost lover. A loose, free form tune that is nearly void of any rhythm pulls you in at the first chorus, at Eddie Vedder's beautiful vocals begin to show themselves. After another verse, akin to the first, we get to the second chorus, where the singers pained, passionate voice pulls us in, and his subsequent: "All the love gone bad turned my world to black/Tattooed all I see, all that I am, all I'll be... yeah..." followed by the heart wrenching mournful declaration leaving us with goosebumps: "I know someday you'll have a beautiful life,/ I know you'll be a sun in somebody else's sky, but why/ Why, why can't it be, oh can't it be mine. Leading into an instrumental ending, with the haunting melody piercing our minds well after the song is over.
Props to Karen, for putting up with Moll, Arlena for putting up with me, and for loving my quotes, and for that status war WHICH I PWNED AT! (i have got to stop saying 'pwn') and a big WTF? to Jenna for breaking up with Matt, even though i guess i saw it coming, but she was just pessimistic about the relationship for the get go. PS. KAREN, i will be sure to kick some sense into moll next time i see him. and you have moved up from 11th fav, to 7th fave! YAY KAREN!
Today's music: Black by Pearl Jam (if that wasn't obvious enough) and rearviewmirror from the same band, as well as Born to Run, and Adam Raised a Caine by Bruce Springsteen, and The Doors eponymous debut, and i listened to Light My Fire off that album twice

Peace love empathy
